SPEC Conformance In the pursuit of the best possible performance on the SPEC benchmarks, some compilers perform transformations that are not permitted by the ANSI C standard. This set of tests include code fragments and data sets which are very similar to SPEC benchmarks, but have been slightly modified to isolate some of the known defects related to SPEC-specific optimizations.
